| Description | A limited number of one-year fellowships support interdisciplinary research projects related to neuroscience, culture, and psychiatry at UCLA. Research should relate to autism spectrum disorder. Candidates must conduct their research under Dr. Thomas S. Weisner as the primary sponsor and PI of research on Culture & Disability: Autism Spectrum Disorder in India & the United States. Fellows are also required to attend interdisciplinary seminars offered by the FPR-UCLA Center for Culture, Brain, Development, and Mental Health Program throughout their fellowship appointment. Fellowships are renewable for an additional year, based on the evaluation of the previous year's performance. | |
| Award Amount | Stipend of $40,000 per year, health insurance, and a support allowance of $1,500 per year. | |
