THE INSTITUTE OF TURKISH STUDIES (ITS), RESEARCH GRANTS IN COMPARATIVE STUDIES OF MODERN TURKEY


Deadline   3/8/2013 
Description   Grants for support dissertation and postdoctoral research projects on the Republic of Turkey (post-1922) in a comparative context. A significant portion of the project should be devoted to one or more states or political entities in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia in addition to the Turkish Republic. Research can be carried out in the United States and abroad. Grants provide up to one academic year of support. 
Award Amount   Maximum award is maximum $25,000. 
Disciplines   Social Sciences. School of Public Affairs. Open primarily to political science. 
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Must be affiliated with a university in the United States.
