THE COORDINATING COUNCIL FOR WOMEN IN HISTORY(CCWH), CATHERINE PRELINGER AWARD
Deadline   9/15/2012 
Description   Award supports one scholarship in women's history. The award intends to enhance the work of a contemporary scholar whose academic path has not followed the traditional path of uninterrupted study.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $20,000. 
Disciplines   Social Sciences. Open primarily to history, but may be in a related field. 
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must be a member of CCWH and must hold either A.B.D. status or the PhD at time of application. Membership fee is $10.00 to $50.00 depending on student's status or annual earnings. Must have already contributed or show potential for contributing significantly to women in history.
