EPILEPSY FOUNDATION OF AMERICA, PRE-DOCTORAL RESEARCH TRAINING FELLOWSHIPS

Description   Around three fellowships provided for one year of support for individuals pursuing dissertation research with an epilepsy relevant theme. 
Award Amount   $19,000 stipend plus $1,000 to support travel to attend the annual meeting of the American Epilepsy Society.  
Disciplines   Life Sciences. School of Public Health. School of Nursing. Areas of interest considered include, but are not limited to neuroscience, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, biochemistry, genetics, nursing, or pharmacy.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Applicant must have a defined dissertation research project, have a qualified mentor to supervise research, and have access to institutional resources to conduct the proposed research project.
