INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES (IBM), PH.D. FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Description   Fellowships are awarded annually for study at any university world-wide. The IBM Fellowship Program is intended to honor exceptional Ph.D. students in disciplines of mutual interest, fundamental to innovation and on demand business. Fellows will be matched with an IBM mentor and are expected to intern at an IBM research lab. Fellowships may be renewed for up to three years. 
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. 
Disciplines   Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. School of Management. Including business, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, materials science, mathematics, mechanical engineering and physics, as well as emerging technical fields such as autonomic computing, nanotechnology, grid computing, e-business on demand and services management. 
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must be nominated by a faculty member, be enrolled full-time, and should have completed at least one year of study in a doctoral program at the time of nomination.
