AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION (AFSP), POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS


Deadline   11/15/2012 
Description   One or more fellowships provide up to 2 years of support for clinical, biological, or psychosocial research on the problem of suicide. Research can be conducted at any non-profit institution in U.S. or abroad. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $46,000 per year and an institutional allowance of $6,000 per year. Up to $104,000 over two years. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. Health Sciences. School of Public Health. School of Nursing. Including psychology, psychiatry, sociology, neurobiology genetics, medicine, and epidemiology. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. or other doctoral degree within the preceding six years and have not had more than three years of fellowship support.
