NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY, POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Description   Approximately 40 fellowships are awarded for scientific and engineering research of interest to the Navy. Research must be conducted at a participating Naval center or laboratory. Fellowships are for one year, renewable for a second and third year. 
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. 
Disciplines   Physical Sciences. School of Engineering.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Applicants must develop a suitable research proposal with a participating facility and be eligible for a security clearance. Must have received a PhD, Sc.D. or equivalent, within the last 7 years or about to receive one.
