| Description | Approximately 40 fellowships are awarded for scientific and engineering research of interest to the Navy. Research must be conducted at a participating Naval center or laboratory. Fellowships are for one year, renewable for a second and third year. | |
| Award Amount | Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. | |
| Disciplines | Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. | |
| Academic Level | Postdoctoral Scholar. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. | |
| Requirements | Applicants must develop a suitable research proposal with a participating facility and be eligible for a security clearance. Must have received a PhD, Sc.D. or equivalent, within the last 7 years or about to receive one. | |
