DAMON RUNYON CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION (DRCRF), FELLOWSHIP AWARD

Deadline		3/15/2013 -for summer/fall activation. 8/15/2012 -for winter/spring activation.
Description		3 year fellowships are awarded to support young investigators working in theoretical and experimental research relevant to the study of cancer and the search for cancer causes, mechanisms, therapies and preventions. Research can be conducted at an American hospital or research institution.
Award Amount		Stipend ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 per year, plus annual laboratory expenses of $2,000.
Disciplines		Life Sciences. Health Sciences. School of Public Health.
Academic Level		Postdoctoral Scholar.
Citizenship		No citizenship requirements.
Requirements		Must have completed a MD or PhD and received degree no more than one year prior to the FAC meeting at which the application is to be considered. Only candidates who are beginning their first full-time postdoctoral research fellowship are eligible.
