FLETCHER FOUNDATION, ALPHONSE FLETCHER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM


Deadline   2/11/2013 
Description   Fellowships are awarded over a number of years to scholars, writers and artists whose works contribute to improving race relations in American Society and further the broad social goals of the U.S. Supreme Court's Brown v. Board Education decision of 1954. A new class of Fellows will be selected every year. 
Award Amount   A stipend of $50,000 per year. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Public Affairs. School of Theater, Film, & TV. School of Law.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Scholars at all stages of their careers - from doctoral candidates through postdocs to established senior faculty are eligible to apply. Recommendation letters required.
