| Description | These internships are designed to prepare students for employment as computational scientists. This is done by providing hands-on experience using Massively-Parallel Processing (MPP) systems, mentoring from expert computational scientists, and giving specialized instruction in computational mathematics and scientific visualization techniques. Appointments can vary, but a minimum should be no less than 8 weeks and not more than 12 weeks. Summer terms run between mid May to mid September. | |
| Award Amount | Participants are paid at competitive rates. Travel expenses connected to the summer employment offer will be reimbursed. | |

| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens. | |
| Requirements | Applicant must have a GPA of 3.3 minimum within major and overall is required and preferred is 3.5+. | |
