MICHIGAN SOCIETY OF FELLOWS, POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

Description   Three-year postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Michigan. Fellows are appointed as assistant professors or research scientists and spend the equivalent of one academic year teaching; the balance of their time is devoted to independent research or artistic projects. 
Award Amount   The annual stipend for fellows is $52,000. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Engineering. School of Management. School of Public Affairs. School of Theater, Film, & TV. School of Public Health. School of Law.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   The Society invites applications from qualified candidates who are at the beginning of their academic careers, having received the Ph.D. or comparable professional or artistic degree between June 1, 2009 and September 1, 2012. Applications from degree candidates and recipients of the Ph.D. from the University of Michigan will not be considered. Non-US citizens may apply. Application fee of $30.
