US AIR FORCE/ NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL, RESIDENT RESEARCH ASSOCIATESHIP PROGRAM

Description   Several fellowships for postdoctoral scholars to perform research at an Air Force laboratory for one year. Award renewable for up to two additional years. 
Award Amount   Annual stipend starts at $55,000 and increases throughout the years. Relocation reimbursement and limited professional travel funds given. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. Fields in science and engineering that contribute to the overall efforts of the Air Force laboratories. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. However, a small number of associateships may be available for foreign nationals if laboratory funds are available. 
Requirements   Must have received doctorate less than 5 years at the time of application.
