| Description | The Association is focused to assist minority students in completing their doctorates by concentrating not only on the recruitment of minorities, but also on the retention of these groups within the profession. Up to twelve stipend minority fellows will be given each year. | |
| Award Amount | Stipends of $4,000 that is disbursed in two $2,000 payments. | |
| Disciplines | Social Sciences. Specifically political science. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens. | |
| Requirements | Must be African Americans, Asian Pacific Americans, Latinos/as, and Native Americans (federal and state recognized tribes) Preference is given to persons about to enter graduate school. | |
