Description   Postdoctoral fellowships awarded for research in Japanese Studies at the Edwin O. Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies at Harvard University. Awards are for a 10-month period to give fellows the opportunity to turn their dissertations into publishable manuscripts. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $50,000, health insurance, office space, and access to libraries and resources of Harvard University. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences. Fields related to Japanese Studies. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must have received PhD in 2008 or later. Those who are chosen to receive fellowships must have completed all requirements for the PhD degree by July 1, 2013.
