US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY (USGS), MENDENHALL POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Description   Several fellowships offered to support two years of postdoctoral research in the earth sciences and related fields. Fellows conduct concentrated research in association with selected members of the USGS professional staff. 
Award Amount   Annual stipend starts at $60,274 and increases depending on the amount of locality pay for the geographic area of the assignment. 
Disciplines   Physical Sciences. Earth sciences. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements. Preference given to U.S. citizens and nationals. 
Requirements   Must have received PhD within the last five years.
