LEIFUR EIRIKSSON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Deadline		12/3/2012 Supporting documents, i.e. letters of reference and transcripts, must be received no later than 12/12/2012.
Description		Several awards offered for graduate research or study at universities in Iceland. The Foundation is dedicated to fostering educational and scientific advancements and for providing recognition and financial assistance to further scholarly study and research.
Award Amount		Up to $25,000 in project costs, including travel to and from the research or study site will be paid on the scholar’s behalf.
Disciplines		Open to all fields.
Academic Level		Prospective/Current Graduate Student.
Citizenship		Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Requirements		Must be admitted to a graduate program at an accredited institution in the US, have a well defined research project that necessitates an exchange to the host country, and have English language proficiency.
