| Description | Two to three scholarships are offered to promote public service and to create access to higher education for graduate students. Upon successful completion of program and degree requirements, participants become permanent employees of USDA. | |

| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens. | |
| Requirements | Be in good academic standing with at least a 2.75 gpa. Scholarships are tied to a specific job placement in a specific location. Recipients are required to work for the USDA upon graduation. | |
