UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, PUBLIC SERVICE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Description   Two to three scholarships are offered to promote public service and to create access to higher education for graduate students. Upon successful completion of program and degree requirements, participants become permanent employees of USDA. 
Award Amount   Award includes tuition, paid internship, employee benefits, and mentoring. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Management. School of Public Affairs. Public Service.*Fields change yearly. 
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens.  
Requirements   Be in good academic standing with at least a 2.75 gpa. Scholarships are tied to a specific job placement in a specific location. Recipients are required to work for the USDA upon graduation.
