Deadline		8/1/2013 - deadline for initial letter of intent. 9/1/2013 - deadline for full application.
Description		Fellowship program that offers several fellowships to provide individuals with an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of an issue, country or region outside the US for a minimum duration of two years. Fellowships are for self-designed independent study.
Award Amount		Award includes paid expenses for travel, living, housing, dependents, and health insurance.
Disciplines		Open to all fields. Fields related to current world affairs.
Academic Level		Postdoctoral Scholar.
Citizenship		No citizenship requirements.
Requirements		Candidates must be under 36 years of age at the time of application. Fellowships do not support work toward academic degrees, research projects, or to write books.
