GETTY RESEARCH GRANTS, VILLA PREDOCTORAL & POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

Description   Nine month fellowships support predoctoral and one year or two year fellowships support postdoctoral scholars to complete work on projects related to the Getty Villas annual theme. Visit the Getty website for this year's theme. Fellows are expected to be in residence at the Getty Villa in Malibu, where they will pursue research to complete their dissertations or to expand them for publication. 
Award Amount   Predoctoral stipends are $25,000 for nine months. Postdoctoral stipends are $30,000 for one year or $55,000 for two years. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Predoctoral scholars must be advanced to candidacy by the fellowship start date. Postdoctoral scholars must have received their PhD within the last 5 years.
