STANFORD UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL, RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PREVENTION


Deadline   11/15/2012 
Description   Up to three fellowships offered for postdoctoral fellows to foster research and training in the field of chronic disease prevention. Three major program elements include: research experience, directed study and data analysis, and a core seminar, with the principle emphasis being direct involvement in ongoing research. Fellowship can also provide tuition support for completing a Masters degree in epidemiology and clinical research methods. Length of training varies from 2 to 3 years depending on prior experience. 
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows.

Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Applicant must hold an MD, received within the last 6 years, or PhD received within the last 3 years, by the time of appointment.
