| Description | The Health Professions Scholarship Program offers several fellowships to support graduate study in health related fields. The program provides funds for one year and is renewable for up to 4 years of full-time study or 8 years of part-time study. | |
| Award Amount | Monthly stipend of $1,250 plus tuition costs and $300 to help offset travel expenses to school and home. | |
| Disciplines | Life Sciences. School of Public Affairs. School of Public Health. School of Nursing. Includes Clinical Psychology, Dentistry, and Social Work. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens. | |
| Requirements | Must be in good academic standing. Must be American Indian and Alaska Native (Federally recognized) students. There are service obligations and payback requirements upon acceptance. | |
