NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL (NRC) RESEARCH ASSOCIATESHIP PROGRAM

Description   NRC Associateship provides several programs for postdoctoral scientists and engineers to conduct research on problems largely of their own choice that are compatible with the interests of sponsoring laboratories. Awards are granted for an initial 12-month period and may be renewed for up to five years, based on satisfactory performance and the continued availability of funds. 
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. School of Public Health.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Citizenship requirements for the NRC Research Associateship Program vary depending on the sponsoring federal laboratory. 
Requirements   Open to doctoral level scientists and engineers. Some programs require supporting documents and/or other specific requirements. Check with the program of interest.
