| Description | Two year scholarship for advanced dissertation or postdoctoral level work at Harvard University. Intended for scholars pursuing an academic career involving a social science discipline and area studies. Approximately 5 scholars will be selected. | ||
| Award Amount | Pre-doctoral scholars will receive an annual stipend of $28,000. Postdoctoral scholars will receive an annual stipend of $46,000. | ||

| Academic Level | Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar. | ||
| Citizenship | No citizenship requirements. | ||
| Requirements | Open to doctoral candidates and recent PhD recipients. Doctoral candidates must have completed all course work and examinations by the beginning of the academic year in which they seek support. Postdoctoral scholars currently holding teaching or research positions are also eligible to apply. Plan scholarly career at a university. | ||
