INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND EXCHANGES BOARD (IREX), US EMBASSY POLICY SPECIALIST (EPS) PROGRAM


Deadline   3/14/2013 
Description   Several fellowships awarded US scholars and professionals to serve US Embassies in Eurasia as policy specialists on a chosen topic and pursue their own research project independently. Awards support 4-8 weeks of research. 
Award Amount   Fellows are provided with visa assistance, international roundtrip transportation, housing in the country of service, a monthly allowance for living expenses, and emergency evacuation insurance. 
Disciplines   Social Sciences. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Management. School of Law.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Applicants must hold a PhD or other graduate degree at time of application (MA, MS, MFA, MBA, MPA, MLIS, MPH, JD, MD)
