SIGMA XI THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH SOCIETY; GRANTS-IN-AID OF RESEARCH

Description   Grants awarded support research projects in any field of scientific investigation to promote scientific excellence and achievement through hands-on learning.  
Award Amount   Maximum stipend of $1,000 (average $600). Designated funds allow for grants of up to $5,000 for astronomy research and $2,500 for vision related research. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Health Sciences.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Open to graduate and undergraduate students. Does not support travel to scientific meetings.
