CALIFORNIA COUNCIL ON SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (CCST), CALIFORNIA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FELLOWSHIPS
Deadline   2/28/2013 
Description   Up to ten fellowships provide selected fellows with hands-on experience working with the California legislature to incorporate science and technology into public policy. Awards support one year of research and are not renewable. 
Award Amount   Base stipend of $45,000 plus health insurance and travel expenses. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. Health Sciences.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Suitable immigration status for non-residents may be approved.  
Requirements   Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree OR an MS degree in an engineering discipline plus at least 3 years post-degree experience.
