| Description | Two to three fellowships are offered to young scholars from outside Japan to carry out non-degree research at Hosei University. Fellowships are for 6 to 12 months in duration. | |
| Award Amount | Monthly stipend of 300,000 yen plus round trip travel subsidy and shared office space. | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Engineering. School of Management. School of Law. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar. | |
| Citizenship | No citizenship requirements. | |
| Requirements | Must be presently enrolled in a doctoral degree program, hold a doctorate, or its equivalent. Also, must be fluent in either Japanese or English and be no more than 39 years of age as April 1st. | |
