| Description | The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE SCGF) provides three years of support for outstanding students pursing advanced degrees in fundamental research in scientific and engineering fields supported by the Office of Science. This includes physics, chemistry, biology (non-medical), mathematics, engineering, computer and computational sciences, and areas of environmental sciences. | |
| Award Amount | Annual stipend of $35,000, up to $10,500 toward tuition and fees (paid directly to the fellow’s host academic institution), annual research stipend of $5,000, travel and accommodations for the annual DOE SCGF Research Meeting. | |
