HOWARD HUGHES MEDICAL INSTITUTE, GILLIAM FELLOWSHIP FOR ADVANCED STUDY

Description   Fellowships awarded to students who have participated in the Exceptional Research Opportunities Program (EXROP) of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Provides full support for up to four years of study toward a Ph.D. 
Award Amount   Stipends of $30,000 annually for up to 4 years and annual allowance of $3,000. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Applicants must be graduating seniors or enrolled or planning to enroll in a Ph.D. program in the biomedical or related sciences. In addition, applicants must not have completed more than one year in a Ph.D. program by the application date.
