| Description | Fellowship provides support to graduate students with degrees in space and technology disciplines. Selected candidates will perform graduate student research at their respective campuses and at NASA Centers and/or at nonprofit U.S. Research and Development (R&D) laboratories. | |
| Award Amount | Annual stipend of up to $36,000 per year, an additional $12,000 for tuition/fees and health insurance. | |
| Disciplines | Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. Focus in science, technology, engineering, and math significant with potential to contribute to the strategic goals and missions of NASA in the area of space technology. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. | |
| Requirements | Must be be enrolled in a full-time master's or doctoral degree program at an accredited U.S. university when receiving the award. Master's degree support may be renewed for no more than one year. Doctoral degree support may be renewed no more than 3 additional years. | |
