| Description | Approximately 4 fellowships awarded to doctoral students enrolled in the University of California or NSSC consortium universities (Michigan State University, Washington University, and University of Nevada Las Vegas)to support their dissertations on nuclear threats and public policy. Awards are for 9 months and are not renewable. | |
| Award Amount | Stipend of $20,000 for 9 months. | |
| Disciplines | Open to all fields. The competition is open to all academic disciplines, however, the proposed research must pertain to nuclear threats and public policy and the international sources and/or consequences of the phenomenon studied in the dissertation must be an integral part of the project. | |
| Academic Level | Working on Doctoral Dissertation. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens. | |
| Requirements | Must be enrolled in the University of California or at a consortium university (Michigan State University, Washington University, and University of Nevada Las Vegas) including J.D./Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., and M.D. students with thesis. | |
