ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON SCHOLARS IN HEALTH POLICY RESEARCH PROGRAM

Description   The program selects up to nine outstanding scholars for two-year fellowships at one of three nationally prominent universities with the expectation that the scholars will seek to make important research contributions to future U.S. health policy. Scholars will have access to a full range of university resources. 
Award Amount   Annual stipend of $89,000 and limited financial support for research related expenses.  
Disciplines   Social Sciences. Within the disciplines of economics, political science, and sociology. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Applicants must have received a doctoral degree, after January 1, 2008 but no later than July 15, 2013. For those expecting to receive degrees in 2013, all degree requirements must be completed by July 15, 2013. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously worked in health or health policy research.
