Description   Two year support for postdoctoral researchers making the transition from research training to independent researchers. Awards for research relevant to lung biology, health and disease. 
Award Amount   Stipend up to $40,000 for a duration of two years. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. Health Sciences. School of Public Health. Specifically fields related to respiratory or pulmonary diseases 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   U.S. citizens or residents. Also open to Canadian citizens or foreign nationals with permanent visas, working in U.S. institutions. 
Requirements   Must have a PhD or MD, completed at least 2 years of research training, and hold an entry level faculty rank.
