UCLA Prospective Graduate Student Campus Tours
Thank you for your interest in visiting UCLA. Visiting our campus is the best way to experience firsthand all that we have to offer our graduate students. Below you will find various ways to visit campus.
Our tours of UCLA's North Campus are held multiple times each month and last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. They begin at 10:00am (PST) from the UCLA Graduate Division (1237 Murphy Hall).
North Campus Tours focus on programs and degrees in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences such as: art, anthropology, business, ethnic studies, law, linguistics, literature, management, music, philosophy, public affairs, and sociology to name a few. Additionally, we walk through the main quad and the Sculpture Garden while discussing graduate student life, housing, funding, recreation, and much more!
Winter 2013 and Spring 2013 tours are available from February through May. Please select a North Campus Tour from our Events Calendar to RSVP Online.
Our tours of UCLA’s South Campus are held multiple times each month and last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. They begin at 1:00pm (PST) from the UCLA Graduate Division (1237 Murphy Hall).
South Campus Tours focus on programs and degrees in the fields of Physical and Life Sciences such as: atmospheric sciences, biology, chemistry and biochemistry, dentistry, earth and space sciences, engineering, math sciences, medicine, nursing, physics and astronomy, psychology, and public health to name a few. Additionally, we walk through the main quad, the Court of Sciences and the Center for Health Sciences (CHS) while discussing graduate student life, housing, funding, recreation, and much more!
Winter 2013 and Spring 2013 tours are available from February through May. Please select a South Campus Tour from our Events Calendar to RSVP Online.
Group tours are available during all quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer) and take approximately 90 minutes to complete. Group tours are not available during campus breaks between quarters, final exam periods, weekends, or holidays (see the academic and administrative calendars). To schedule a group tour, please email or call the UCLA Graduate Division Diversity, Inclusion & Admissions office at outreach@grad.ucla.edu / (310) 206-3411. Please provide the following information: potential visiting date(s) and start time, total number of prospective or admitted students, total number of chaperons, and department(s) of interest.
We encourage you to contact the department that interests you and let them know you are coming to campus. Read the department's web page carefully. Many departments have information sessions, open house days, class visits, or offer appointments with admissions staff.

- School of Theater, Film, and Television offers a behind the scenes tour of their facilities.
