Chancellor's Prize recipients are the most highly recruited students admitted into the department. Option 2: The Graduate Division provides a 2008 Chancellor's Prize Summer Mentorship award in the amount of $5,000 and a 2009 Chancellor's Prize Summer Mentorship award in the amount of $5,000. Activation Procedures for Chancellor's Prize Summer Mentorship Award Summer support is not automatically disbursed. Students and their departments are responsible for activating the award by following the procedures detailed below Student's Responsibilities To activate their summer support, Chancellor's Prize recipients must submit the following to their department by April 2, 2008:
Department's Responsibilities View the Encumbrance database on the Graduate Division Intranet to see if your department has Chancellor's Prize recipients who are scheduled to activate their summer award. By April 4, 2008 the department submits a copy of the student's Overview of the Summer Project (signed by the department chair) and Letter of Recommendation (including the cover form) to Liz Taylor in the Graduate Division Office of Outreach, Diversity, & Fellowships; 1252 Murphy Hall, 141901.
