Committee Reconstitution

Do you need to make a change to your thesis or doctoral committee? Fill out the appropriate form and have it signed by your committee members and department chair/ authorized faculty departmental graduate advisor.

Master's Thesis Committees

  Change master's committee members. Any changes in committee membership are requested after consultation with the chair of the committee, all committee members (incoming, outgoing, and continuing members), and the student.

Doctoral Dissertation Committees

• Reconstitution of Doctoral Committee, Certifying Members, or Change in Final Oral Examination Requirement (iPDF-680KB)
  Change doctoral committee members, change certifying members, or change the final oral exam requirement. Recommendation for reconstitution of a doctoral committee is made jointly by the chair of the department and the chair of the doctoral committee after consultation with the members of the committee who are in residence and the student.
