Postdoctoral Scholar Housing Options |
|
Postdoctoral scholars are eligible to reside in University Apartments but are not given the highest priority. After demand for housing among graduate students and professional students has been met, UCLA will offer housing to postdoctoral scholars for a period of two years for single postdoctoral scholars and for the duration of program for postdoctoral scholars with dependent children. More information on campus housing options is available on the University Housing website. Applying for University Housing In order to submit an application for University Housing, you will need to complete the online University Apartment Application and pay an application fee. If you are applying before you have become officially approved as a postdoctoral scholar, you can request a temporary logon ID through online application form. Note, do not enter an ID number or password, but rather, simply click the submit button and you will be taken to an application to request a temporary logon ID and password. If you are currently a UCLA Postdoctoral Scholar, you can use your Bruin Online (BOL) account user name and password to log on to the application form. Off-Campus Housing Another University office providing assistance with locating housing in vicinity of UCLA is the Community Housing Office. For an annual membership fee, you can obtain current listings of a variety of housing options near campus. |
