Effective August 1, 2009, Graduate Division-approved Visiting Scholars and their dependents are eligible for the Visiting Scholar Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan offered through Garnett-Powers & Associates.

Visiting Scholar Injury & Sickness Insurance Plan - Rate Sheet (PDF-56KB)

If a visiting scholar is sponsored on a J-1 visa as an exchange visitor, they and their dependents MUST carry adequate health insurance for the duration of their stay in the United States.
